Created by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in 1985, World Architecture Day (WAD) is celebrated on the first Monday of October each year in parallel with UN World Habitat Day with the world’s 3.2 million Architects. This year’s World Architecture Day (WAD) fell on Monday, 5th October, 2020 and was held at the Nubuke Foundation 2020 Global Theme: Housing for All: A better Urban Future. 2020 Local Theme: My City, My Vision – Imagine Ghana By choosing a different theme each year, this world day seeks to draw the attention of professionals as well as the public to problems concerning cities and habitat. Giving an opportunity to show the world what our vision for the country (Ghana) could be if given the unhindered opportunity. Amongst the presentations were;
